experiences with OTT and slopes

My name is Jerry, i am a landscaper in WA. i am purchasing a new machine with a long wheelbase and a skid pro mower, for brush and retention pond maintenance I am looking for input as to what people think about putting Over Tire Tracks on a Long Wheelbase skid steer and a 2000 lb mower out front. What kind of performance could i expect on slopes? Does that much weight out front increase stability and traction? The reason i'm considering this is that i don't need tracks all the time, and would like to put together a adequate package to get me working while saving 10k on purchase price and cheaper maintenance.
