I have completed the engine conversion on my 610 and she is up and running. During this conversion I did a complete overhaul of the drive system changing bearings on all axles and new clutch parts and much more. I rebuilt the variable speed clutch and jackplate along with a new belt. My decision to repower this machine was the best decision that I could have made. I have eliminated a few items during the conversion, the need for that heavy starter and alternator was eliminated because of the more modern electronic engine. There is a slight increase in HP, from 30 to 35 and the exhaust noise is greatly reduced. I am rebuilding the fifth wheel and also the Edwards mast, they should be completed within the week and I can use this machine to load and unload honeybees. Sure saves me mega bucks by rebuilding this machine, figure I could have easily spent 40 thousand on a Hummerbee or Swinger. I have made a video of the conversion, just trying to figure out how to post pics????
