Amazingly I am still looking for these parts at a reasonable price. A timing belt and idler assembly should sell for 80.00 or less, not the 180.00 the Bobcat dealer asks. The starter ring gear should not be selling for the 250.00 the Bobcat dealer asks either. I have looked into Deutz parts sources but around here there seem to be none. Does anyone have a favorite parts supplier who ships to Florida?

I think you are stuck with the dealer for the ring gear, i would suspect its a custom fly wheel to suit the bell housing and starter, sorry!
I can't see why you can't find a belt and idler from a Deutz dealer though.....

The ring gear was the same used on a generator and a Ditch Witch I have examined. I am sure it is not exclusively a Bobcat item. The only thing is to find the correct one for a 10 tooth starter. There seem to be no Deutz dealers within reasonable driving distance of here though.
