Dash lights will not go off when key turned off on LX985

Dash lights will not go off when key turned off unless I switch the the service/run switch to service/run. Its got me stumped.

They switch off when you get off the seat on my 160

That was also my first thought, so I got off the seat and let it sit overnight and then looked in through the back window and the dash lights were still on.

you have the under the seat switch? check it first,make sure it breaks circuit when you are not on seat.
