Mustang 3300V Yammar motor cranks but will not start, best I can tell, brand new fuel solenoid replaced by previous mechanic whom failed to get the machine back out on the job is not releasing. Machine will roar to life if I spray intake with ether so electrical circuit is open and operating, just no fuel what so ever reaching the engine, fuel pump runs endlessly if key is left in run/on position. I have checked all fuses, repaired numerous faulty switches such as seat and lap bar, and shorted wiring, door switch bypass was also faulty and I repaired the torn wire. with capacitor on it, though according to indicator. panel located in lower cab wall panel, under lap bar switch, perhaps the capacitors are fried or my soldering job was under par, but I believe the machine starts even if door is open, just cannot move anything so I'm ignoring that for the moment, correct me if I'm wrong, I'm at the point though I wish to bypass the control module to determine if the fuel solenoid is or is not working or if the control module is to blame. The timeout relays I'm told could also be something to give close inspection and they did appear to have arc smoke residue PERHAPS on their exterior. Might add the cab overhead digital indicator monitor has some frayed wires (very final photo, purple wire) and currently displays nothing as if not powered, hope to have those wires back together tomorrow but I do not feel. the monitor would cause lock out, again, I know I do not know is the only thing I actually know. Ive located the plug for bypass switch and of course there is no actual switch in this machine, if you can guide me on which wires to gator together (3&4th photo) that would get me major progress I believe, as I'm ready to wager its the fuel solenoid or actual safety module to blame at this point, or at least have a better sense of where to search for faulty wiring.

Hello, how many hrs is on this loader? i assume it is an earlier model that has an ECM, but does not have DPF only EGR.
It would seem as if the ECM has No Power to it, there for it is not turning on the fuel. if i remember correctly they used an injection pump with an electronic governor which would control all fuel flow to injectors, also would be used to shut down engine. if this is the set up. i believe there would be a fuse labeled as ECU. That fuse power would go to a relay. then the relay feeds power to the ECU. i may be able to come up with a wiring diagram

Thanks! It is a 2001 I want to say, but perhaps 2004, and the hrs are high but not absurd. I'll be back at the machine very early morning before sunrise too spend a few more hours on it, I will get more accurate info. You are correct about the ECM., These three components are mounted the left side engine compartment same as the battery

Ya know I kept thinking that for a 25 year old machine this thing was pretty plush! I never made it to work on the machine last night, I just called the owner and he was convinced it was a 2001, I did a quick google search and verified. you do indeed know these machines, 3300V was man, 2011-2018, so he sent me a photo of there vin. I suppose this could be some of the re4ason I'm having so much trouble finding out anything about the machine, I've gone off his word and been searching 2001 for a machine that did not exist yet!

Any thoughts on this connector, orange wire coming off the solenoid for the injection pump, believe it ties into harness plug for fuel shut off solenoid

the one control module has a date of 2011 im guessing it would that year or a 2012
So perhaps I'm narrowing it down, went to bleed the fuel lines, no fuel was reaching filter or injection pump, fuel pump itself runs when key is turned on, but obviously something from the tank to the injection pump is not correct, Plan to pull the pump disconnecting from engine fuel line but leaving it connected tank side, place it in a bucket and see what happens when the key is tuned. Tank is completely full so perhaps the pick up is clogged as it should have simply gravity fed even if pump is shot is my thought, Anyone know if the fuel shut off solenoid would stop fuel from reaching the filter? Working on tracing that sequence to determine is it from tank to pump or pump to engine.

this injection pump does not have a fuel solenoid, all engine speeds & shutdown are controlled by the rack position actuator
that 2 wire plug with orange wire should be the cold start coil (assists with cold weather starting). if the fuel pump runs then it will pump if u get fuel to it

Okay so the wire going to the injection pump has no meaning at this moment as its plenty warm here? The photo is what I'm referring to as fuel solenoid and is the part someone else just changed as they hoped this was the cause, but obviously its not. Fuel pump is indeed running but no fuel is reaching filter, let alone injection pump, Tank is completely filled.

Try hooking up an external tank to see if it will fire.

Your pickup tube may be clogged or broken.
