I have a 773 with a 72" Root grapple bucket that I clear fence rows and clear cut with. The bucket is too big and I knew this going in to it but I got such a deal on it I couldn't refuse plus I was in need of it at the time...So I live with it for now. My problem is the bucket weighs 1000# and by the time I get a decent size log or tree it is overloaded and unstable I need to weight it down in the rear to keep from nose diving like it does. Does anyone know what some options might be for me? I don't have tracks on it either.

Bobcat makes axel weights and a few plates of steel bolted inside the rear tailgate. Not sure what thats boost your rated operating capacity, likely 200 or 300 lbs.
Tracks sets for 10" tire weight between 500 and 1000 lbs and would offer significantly more stability with the bonus of added traction and better tire protection. Of couse some of this weight is on the front tires, but I still think you will gain more with tracks.
The 72 " erskine one I use weight 900 lbs and it seems fine on my 773 with 600 lbs of foam in the tires and 500 lb tracks plus tracks. Our HD 72" is 1050. Yoyr tipping load (on flat ground) is 3500 lbs. So you should still have a good payload.
