component repair manuals

The details i have show bearing pre-load. I'll scan them tomorrow. Boy i wish i was sleeping last night! some nasty stomach bug thing.... I was on the porcelain phone to god most of the night...... Was not an experience i want to have again any time soon.

Skiddy I'm on the road right now but I have all three(motor, pump and cylinder) component repair manuals at home. When I get back I'll post again and you can let me know what you need from them and I'll post it or send it to you. These component repair manuals were published by Melroe for their dealers use and are not available anymore that I know of unless you can find someone selling a used set.
There is a new website I found that is putting Bobcat manuals on the web for download http://bobcat.manuals-website.com/ I just found it while searching for manuals and know nothing about them except they say that for a one time $25 fee you have lifetime access. They do have the hydraulic motor repair manual on their site.

Jmatt You do not have to appologise to me for nuttin. I came across rather harsh in this thread. I have about ......that much tollerance for folks that I have to deal with that deralect their jobs. So from here on I will leave my local parts department out of it. you are correct vickers has a kick butt rebuild manual for the 1919 but it has been out of print for 10 years and is no longer available. Between Taz and the Old machinist I will get what I need. Talk about a website where people come together. thanks for all the help fellas. I will be a member of the manuel site if it is legit.

Details sent, found the motor ones too! hopefully it gives you a little info. I was sure i had a better one floating around here but can't seem to find it

Got it Taz and printed. I havn't studied them yet but at a minimum that is way more than I have now THANKS!

Not an issue, the motors are very simple, jsut ensure the rollers go back in the same place and the same way up. The rest of the seals are a snap. You don't technically need to pull the geroler apart but while in there it never hurts to pull it down, clean/inspect the parts for wear.
Same with the pump, ensure the pistons stay in their respective holes. They will have a little wear, best to keep them in their place unless you swap them out with a new rotating group of course.

These came with as a full set with copies of the manuals I already had and some pages of testing procedures that look like they came from training courses that I'll scan and post this week.

Thanks OldMachinist for the info on the component numbers. I would sure like to get my hands on the Melroe Control valve component manual PDF as my shop manual only shows the Gesson, but says to refer to the component manual for the Melroe valve.
