Chinese Forks and Bale Spear

I've read quite a bit about the lack of quality the Chinese attachment brands bring (Wolverine/JCT/Mower King/Landhonor/Topcat). I'm in Central TX and looking for a reasonably priced set of 48" (non-hydraulic) forks and a bale spear for round bales. The bale spear wouldn't be used often and the forks would mostly be used for pallets which weigh no more than 2,000. My questions is for those of you that have used these Chinese brands. If I get a set of forks that are "rated" for 4,000lbs and a double tine bale spear, should I be fine for a couple years? They won't get abused and I really don't want to splurge on a quality set right now, I have quite of other expenses coming up.

I wouldn't buy anything with a motor from one of these brands since those would likely need to be replaced soon (I've read the posts on here), but since these are stationary I was hoping I could get by for a couple years without going to Titan.

I personally think, as long as your able to inspect them before buying, to look at welds and such, you will be Ok, and you inspect them often after using
and just a suggestion,
but you might also, want to look on facebook market place or craigslist to find better brands used ones, many time you can get a good deal if you shop about

Thanks mrbb. I check Marketplace daily, that's actually how I found my skid steer, but most posts are selling Chinese brands. Being in TX, skid steer prices are out of control and I was looking for a unicorn. Like everyone, I wanted low hours, A/C (it's 100 degrees here today), and operating capacity over 2,500lbs. I was also leaning towards a New Holland since it will be used a lot for loading and unloading pallets from semi's so just short runs and they have DOC instead of DPF.

Finally, a small town dealer that's an hour and a half away got a trade in from their county commissioner who used it on his farm/ranch. 2018 New Holland L228 with 640 hours for $28k which is unheard of around here. Anything under $30k typically has 3k hours or lots of issues.

have you looked on ebay or amazon? many have free shipping,
here is one add from a guy in texas, might be able to make a lower offer and get closer to 500$
I like forks that the weight is more at the top of the quick attach than the bottom like some of the cheaper fork set up are
and these I would assume would also be easier to adjust width wise when needed
I have also seen a few for $499 in like design free shipping too, but farther away from you, not sure what your budget is or consider cheap as to the china one's!
and I'd bet these are made in china too, but just different designs that the super cheap models!
