What machine? That looks like a chain case reservoir maybe. Generally the hydro tank is behind the seat on some models making the filler and dipstick higher up on the machine.

Its a 1979 721 deutz engine.I was told to check it just remove the top plugThere is a tank by seat that says hydraulic oil.Their is no dipstick or site glass
