I just bought a used CAT 262D3 with 400 hours, but I don't think the self level is working the way it should. It is my understanding that I should be able to raise and lower the lift arms and the pallet fork (or whatever attachment) will automatically stay level through that whole process right?
I have the self level switch turned on, and I start with the forks flat on the ground. When I raise the lift arms, I can see the forks start to automatically "dump" a little bit, but it isn't nearly enough to keep them level. By the time the forks are above the cab, they are nowhere close to level anymore.
Is there a way to adjust the sensitivity of the self level function?
