CAT 248 hydro whine question

Any in line filters that I can check or change? I've changed the main screw on filter and oil, but still having a noticeable whine (not obnoxious, but louder than usual). Could be air cavitation...will check the clamps on the suction tubes. Has high flow option. Controls are not jerky.
