Case 1845C PROBLEMS

I have a Case 1845c and i have a problem with my drive system...i turn it on and it starts moving i can not figure it out....i cleaned out my chain drive box(it had ice,dirt,and water in there) i figured that would fix it but it didn't....i cant figure it out anyone that can help please do!!thanks

I had a problem like that with a 1840. With my problem it was the linkage for one of the control arms was wore a little. I fixed this my adjusting the linkage to the hydostaqctic which is right under the seat. The adjustment is attacted right to the small hydrostactic levers. So when it moves and you have to hold one or both of the control arms back or forward this is most likely your problem. Keeping that in mind you only have to adjust the side that to move the control arm to keep it from moving. If this doesn't help at all let me know. One of my good friends has a 1845c and I can ask him or someone else here can help you.

Most likely it will be a linkage adjustment under the seat. Play with the levers to see which one is out of adjustment. If you had water in your chain boxes, you might want to check wheel bearings too. We just had a chain pop off one side so I had to learn how to clean out the chain box and adjust the chains. Both wheel bearings are gone on one side and box was full of water / ice. Other side was ok
