What needs to be adjusted to keep the skid loader from creeping forward or backwards when starting it or when coming to a stop? I went through and tightened up a few loose linkages which has helped some, but not fixed the problem. Any suggestions?

I have never done a case, but essentially you have to find the parts that hold the steering lever in the center and re adjust (or replace) them so the steering lever always return to the same and proper place.
Start by putting the machine up on blocks so the wheels can turn. Start it and see which way it wants to creep on each side. Also see if the creep stay the same after moving the steering levers and releasing them.
If the creep is faster then slower or changes direction after you move the steering lever then let them center themselves, then somewhere the linkage is worn or loose and needs repaired b4 can be adjusted.
Hopefully it always behaves the same and the creep is the same speed and direction every attempt.
If the 2nd scenario is the case, then it is just a matter of moving the stops until the lever is held in the true neutral position for each side.Even so it can take a few attempts to get it right. Eventually as the arts wear it can become impossible and new centering parts must be installed.
