Have a non running 1816 skid steer that i need to move. Is there a way to make it free wheel? Also need to raise the bucket to get it up on a trailer which should be as easy as poping a few hoses off the lift cylinders I'm thinking? Is there a manual for this thing floating around somewhere?

Do you have help? If So, maybe if the control which is manual I assume, can be held in the buchet up position. You may be able to winch the bucket arms up either with a jack or a chainfall if that is possible. If it goes up doing that you then need to support the arms some way from coming down. That may work without losing the fluids or Hyd. Oil. You will have to be inventive. What's wrong with the engine? Whatever you do make sure people are not in the way. Or lose the oil but the same thing applies using support for the lifting arms. Just a thought. Good Luck!

To get it to move or free wheel as you said. The same thing may work pushing both controls forward or backward may allow a slow pull but with a winching flat bed. It may clear better going up the trailer in reverse and the bucket may follow. Trial and error.

Was able to drag/pull it with a comalong was a slow process... I did it b4 the lever pulling advice was posted. Now I can start digging into it and hopefully get it running... thnks
