Can you upgrage a 331g from standard joysticks to deluxe?

I am trying to find out if (how much work or if even possible) to upgrade a standard left joystick (2 button) to a deluxe joystick (4 button) on a 331g?

Since its EH controls, on face it seems like we could swap the joystick out but dont know if its a plug and play swap.
