Does anyone know how difficult this is ?
putting aside the cost and getting cheap parts is it possible without fabricationMotto of the Marines =the difficult takes a little while , the impossible just a little longer , ~~~~~~~~~the question I'd ask is : is it worth the cost to do it " , I'd say no , it is nice when it works ,also doing demo the fittings on the cylinder seem to get broke off
Anything is possible. You'll need to add a valve and solenoids at the gear pump outlet, plumbing to the bobtach, wiring to the dash for the switch, cylinder and pivot brackets at the bobtach. The biggest hiccup might be whether or not the gear pump has the needed holes for mounting the valve to it.putting aside the cost and getting cheap parts is it possible without fabrication
Have you considered the electric powered one as in the media files? There is quite a thread on it here you may have to search for it, I believe it was built by Trihonu and used a linear actuator so all you needed was 12v and a switch.Anything is possible.
