Bobcat 843... Everytime you lift the arms up, the bucket leaks down in postion with the raising of the arms. At first I thought it was some sort of leveling system, however even if the bucket is tilted down, it will still lower when the arms are raised. However ,you can still tilt the bucket back when the arms are being raised. Sorry if thats confusing, I can really explain it much better. Im open to any info you guys have to offer. Thanks!!!

This loader sounds like its equiped with a "hydraulic bucket positioning valve". If the bucket only "leaks down" when lifting. then all is normal. The function adds the same amount of oil to the dump cylinders for very foot the main lift is raise, but it has no way of knowing if the bucket is fully curled back, dumped or somewhere in between.
They are nice for loading gravel or pallet fork work as they help keep things level.
The newer loaders have a switch to electically disable this function.
