Hey guys…I got an 05 bobcat s300 about a year ago, and the parking brake has never worked since I got it. I found the solenoid broken off and flopping around in water on the skid plate, but for the life of me I can't find where it's supposed to attach to. I figured maybe the center bracket that has carriage bolts, but those bolts are way to big to fit the solenoid holes.

Here is a link to the parts catalog. You should be able to find the schematic for your serial number and search "Brake Solenoid" to find the correct page.

Thanks for that. I now figured out I have a 2 speed chain case cover and for some reason, also have a certain brake solenoid just hanging out that would not normally be used on a 2 speed. I'm now wondering if maybe the guy before me bought a different cover or solenoid to at least get the machine to move without parking brake stuck engaged…not sure.
