I was working with my Bobcat 630 over the weekend and the weirdest thing happened - I let go of the drive handles to put the machine in a neutral resting position and suddenly, it started driving itself. The handles (mostly the left one) went forward and the machine started moving - and I don't mean creeping - it was as if I was pushing the handle. I also noticed that every now and then the left handle doesn't do anything when I am working. I will push it forward or backwards and nothing would happen. I'd wait a few seconds and then it would work fine. Do you think these two problems ate related? Any thoughts or feedback would be greatly appreciated. Control valve? Thanks, Dave

Thats kinda normal if the spring isn't tight enough or the pump is not set to neutral. I had the same problem on my 743 till i adjusted it.

sounds like something is loose in the steering linkage. Not familar with this model ,but the 700 series will do this when the bell cranks come loose on the swash plate at the pumps. This handle is centered by the springs , but the pump is free to drift in and out of drive because the linkage is loose somewhere.

You guys are good. I pulled the seat to have a look and one of the steering linkage bars popped off. Thanks for the direction and the help.
