Bobcat Snowblower Troubleshooting

I recently bought a Bobcat SB200 snowblower. When I hooked it up to my Bobcat S185 the main auger only runs in reverse. When I unhook the electrical connection, it will run in both forward and reverse. I have discovered that the blower is for high-flow bobcats and my bobcat is a standard flow machine. Is this why I'm having the auger problems or should I look for other causes?

Hooked up my Bobcat snowblower this past weekend. Everything went well when we tested it except we cannot get the discharge chute to rotate or go up and down. I believe it must be in the electrical connection. Anyone experience this before and have a remedy? Thanks

I loaded it up and took it to the dealer. He tested it out and discovered a BO electrical cable. Replaced it and it works fine. Thanks

Could you tell me which electric cable it was. My S750 with bobcat snowblower works fine most of the time but controls for the blower stop at times. Seems to work again after disconnecting the 7pin and reconnecting. Yes I have cleaned both electrical ends many times. Maybe a moisture problem but haven't confirmed that. Thanks

just food for though for you,
when you cleaned the connections, did you add any dielectric grease to things when your re assembled them? some times it helps keep connections flowing and will also help keep moisture out
I would also, maybe wonder if the plug is working its way apart slightly from vibrations and use, , so maybe you can try zip tying them together or some other way, for a more solid connection and see if this helps you!
plus keep in mind, plugs do wear out over time, all the more so if things wiggle while in use!

Just got a copy of the work order from Bobcat dealer: tested snow blower chute and deflector- not working. Fuses-all good. Tested 7 pin on machine- all good. Tried a test controller- still not working. Ran & wiggled blower wiring at the same time- found the hardness to the controller at the machine was bad. Replaced hardness P/N P6725385. Tested and working fine.
Cost $230 for the part Now waiting for the next storm. Happy that my dealer was able to find and test. They did a good job. We did everything we could including cleaning the ends but were unable to find the root cause.

Thanks for the info. Had to blow snow again today in North Dakota. Before going out I used a pin release tool to scrap the sides of the male pins and used a o-ring pick to slightly dent the edges of the female pins. Blew snow for several hours and didn't have a single issue. All the cleaning and electrical spray and grease was just a temporary fix. Seems the fit on the connection point just isn't tight enough as the machine only has 500 hours and the blower probably only 20 or 30 hours and both sit inside heated. Thanks again to all.
