Why doesn't Bobcat have a M.S.R.P. (Manufacture's Suggested Retail Price) for their equipment. I would be nice to be able to know approximately what a piece of equipment costs before troubling the salesman for info. I know I was interested in the concrete pump attachment for my skidsteer. The salesman had to look it up and my interest quickly disappeared when the mid-$20,000 price tag showed up.
Doesn't the equipment pretty much sell for the same price new, whether it be Florida or Alaska? I pretty sure the equipment dealers get the same type of flat rate delivery that car dealers get, so that equipment pricing is pretty much level across the nation.

They claim the reason is that different regions have different price tags and that individual dealers are better equipped to handle those issues. :shrugs:
