I accidently popped the front window out of the door frame of my 773G. I assume I have to first remove the cord. Then, do I next install the gasket in the door frame, then install the window, and then reinstall the cord? Please correct my assumption if necessary. Is this a difficult process?

I would assume that it is like a old style car windshield, so you are on the right idea maybe check out a you tube to see if any help video is there. just do not break it they are pricy.

Instead of a video, I found two comprehensive step-by step sets of instructions. Thank you!

Should the locking lip be open or engaged during glass installation? What is the best place to start glass installation?
pull everything out. Clean it all well. Shoot WD40 in tie cord pocket and reinstall the cord. Install the seal with cord back in frame with the seal flaps open. WD 40 the window slot and the seal flaps. Work the window into the window slot carefully. You should be able to then zip the seal flaps closed with a window tool. I have one of these https://www.xtremediesel.com/lisle-81140-pigtail-rubber-gasket-tool?gclid=CjwKCAjwn8SLBhAyEiwAHNTJbfZtoqsGF1jj1P0XgRuKI5PQgdWkoMzfG_oBH_aU06qm9QP2lKEazBoCIR0QAvD_BwE

Thank you. The instructions I've seen were apparently using new gaskets which originally had the seal flaps disengaged. Where is the best place to start installing the glass into the gasket?
