I have a older 873 with the travel yhat has the servo system. Iam not familiar. It is responsive but hard to track straight. Is there adjustment or is there something I can do to help smooth out the travel. Just seems like it want to wander its own way with handles pushed all the way forward. Thanks Ryan

i would asume it has cables ?is this correct?if so there are sevral options, but as far as tracking goes spec is both fully stroked full throttle 100 ft no more than ten left or right, as most do right knee holds right handle when traversing distance. this is where tracking comes into play, servo assist is jerky always has been couple of ideas to consider but before going there, replace cables set up as per man (dont jack with adjusment screws at stat , if you have it gets complicated, if you need further assistance can walk you thru,(maybe) it involves a loop hose to remove charge centering press man adjust than a dial in, i can get it dead nuts, but may involve replacing metering spools (an upgrade to allow a wider band nuetral) if still avail;;;

I have not touched anything. Just got the machine. Someone else told me that that is just the way the servo system is. Can I upgrade to different style? If so how much am I looking at. It drives me crazy. Ryan

Start simple, check tire pressure, 10 psi difference will make it pull. Otherwise servos drive like crap, just the way they are. Bobcat only made the servo steering for few years before they figured out it was a bad set up. About the only update I think I know of was you could replace the cables with a linkage system of rods and bellcranks, probably not worth it.
