Bobcat 873. Did I find a unicorn? new to skid steers

Up date. I tracked down the original owner if this 873. He said that it has the original hours on it that it just never got used much. He was an older guy with no reason in the world to be untruthful. So I am a happy camper with a 25 yo machine with 830 something hours. Im still kind of shocked though.

Just keep in mind that seals, hoses and the like can fail with age despite use. Keep a close eye on the hoses that get flexed like the lift and tilt. Look for cracking in the outer rubber on these. Since these are high pressure, if you spot cracking replace them as catastrophic failure can be dangerous.

Yeah well. They were asking $15 k and took the 10k I brought with me. I think I got pretty lucky. But good luck in your search. I hope it goes well.
