will not lift the boom, tilt works great, picks machine up off the ground, i unplugged the locking solenoid but only caused light to blink at buttons, im thinking its in the valve body but am not sure, serial# is 517615105, thanks for input

It's possible that the stem is bad? if the coil doesn't pull the stem to unlock it, you will not have that function. Unplugging the coil sounds like the coil shoudl be good, the blinking is an error saying the coil is open.

Your most likely correct, i called a heavy equipment mechanic and he said basically same thing, either the coil is weak or the stem, it didnt seem like it had alot of pull on the stem when energized, i could feel it pulling but could still move it, problem is i deal with alot 24v stuff that pulls harder when energized

Figured it out, theres two metal solenoids on the front of the valve, one on top side is tilt, one on bottom close to lever is the lift, thats the one that was bad.

Glad you found it, the coils don't pull super hard, but you can feel them doing something, i assume they don't need heaps to move the little spool inside the stem to do the work.
