Does anyone have a reference number for a fuel pump for my 632 that I can give to NAPA and other stores. The bobcat dealers prices are sky high. Also the one on the machine has a 1/4" spacer between the pump and the engine. Is that normal? Steve

If it has the Ford 1.6 (98cid) engine, it shares components with the Pinto and Escort.
Look on Rock Auto at the fuel pumps for those and see if one matches what you have.
The spacer could be so that a pump will fit different engines using a spacer to get the correct distance between the cam and actuating arm, they also act as a heat insulator so block heat doesn't radiate into the pump which would be deleterious to the flexible membrane.

I found out one thing today. I picked up the Carter M6565 that lots of folks say they fit. It did not in my machine. The outlet nipple is right in the way of the choke linkage to the point where the choke would not function. I called bobcat and they have one waiting for me in the morning so I will see if that one will work. Steve

The Bobcat fuel pump does not fit either. It is clocked just wrong. The outlet is right in the way of the choke arm on the carb. Anyone see anything wrong with going with an electric low flow pump. I am thinking at this point it might be the easiest way to go. Steve

I use and have recommended to others in this group an electric pump made by Carter, a Model P4070. Add a Power Relay triggered by the wire going to the coil. The stock mechanical pump is no longer used. Made the change maybe 7 years ago. -Dick
