I have an old Bobcat 630 that won't lift. It worked fine one day and the next day wouldn't lift. I checked the fluid and it was low so I added more but it still wouldn't lift. I took off the seat to check the pedal connections and they are fine. I noticed these little pistons/cylinders that the pedals were attached to. The bucket tilting piston moves in and out fine. The bucket lift piston seems to be stuck and will not move in and out. Any suggestions?

I figured it out with the help of the guy I bought it from. It was in float mode. I had to stomp back on the pedal and it took it out of float mode. It took a really hard stomp.

Sounds like the detent balls may be a little rusty if it took a big stomp to get it to release. If it gets stuck again, you may need to work on them to free it up. They are behind the cap on the back of the control block. Don't mess with it unless it is an issue, the balls can be a pain to get back into place.
