My bobcat 341 as a low hydraulic seemingly whistle after it's been running about an hour. Everything seems very sluggish. Hydraulics fluid full, no leaks obvious. Runs fine when it's cold but after an hour everything gets very slow and weak. Any ideas?

Whistle or whining noise?

Low whistle. Seems to me I heard that type of whistle when my excavator was at a bad slope angle that disappeared when I corrected my angle. This is the same type of whistle, very low and faint but definitely out of the ordinary. And even cranking up the revs and the machine is sluggish. I can let it sit for an hour or two and then it runs fine for another hour. No obviously or anything that I've seen. Hydraulic fluid is up to where it should be. Thinking I should probably change the hydraulic filter.

Are you able to make a little video?

Sounds to me like a bypass somewhere. The oil gets thinner as it worms up and is more likely to flow through smaller openings.

It could actually be a bypass in an oil filter.

Just a thought.
