Thanks for the information on the block heater I went with the OEM 86590140 ,per your suggestions however, something odd happened after I completed the job or maybe I just noticed the problem now. After I installed the heater and had it running to top off the fluids a puff of white bluish smoke would emit from the exhaust when accelerated along with the regular black smoke. When it was brought an held to a constant higher rpm around 1800 it would puff out at random. When Idle or slightly above exhaust smoke is very clean . The machine seems to runs strong with 70 hours on the fresh engine and turbo rebuild. Do you think It may be a turbo oil seal? The exhaust seems to show no evidence of oil yet. I welcome your comments. Thanks, Mecster

I found the trouble today. I must have had water in my fuel filter and when I disturbed it when installing the block heater. I replaced the fuel filter no more smoke and the block heater works well.

Good to hear it was an easy fix.
