Backhoe attachments for 1988 Bobcat 843...

Can anyone tell me the differences between the Bobcat backhoe models available around the late 80's that may fit my 1988 843? I believe the models are 905B, 907, T906, 909, 911 and 913? Which ones fit my machine? What are the differences? Thanks.

The one you want for your 843 is the 911. The 809 and 907 were for the 700 series machines and the 913 is for the 900 series machines. I am not 100% sure but the 909 might fir the 843, it is lighter and has a 9 foot digging depth versus 11 for the 911. There is also the newer 811 model that should fit your 843 as long as you can find the hook style frame mounts.

I Have a Early 843 and thought a 909 would fit but it does not so I can only assume the only unit that fits is the 911.

I did purchase a 911 this past week, and it fit the machine perfect. so 909 is for sale.

I'm in your same boat, I bought a 909 backhoe because I thought it would fit my 843 and it's too short to get to the balls. I don't have the option of finding a 911, so I'll have to re-weld those brackets.... Will you please measure your 911 in the places I'm showing in the photo (on my 909)?

I need the height from the *top* of the quickattach bracket to the *bottom* of the arm (in the photo it is about 8")

Also the length of the arm to the ball - from the face that faces the bobcat (that extends up from the quickattach), it'd be like the armpit of the ball - to the end of the ball. In the photo it's 15"

Thanks for the help! just redid all the hoses and cylinder seals and I'm bummed that it doesn't fit... doh!
