well first off there honestly is No "BEST" anything, , as its impossible to say whats best for me is the same as for you!
the best advice I can suggest here is, BUY attachments based on the job/;s you plan to use them, on
and also base things on how often you will actually use the attachments
as there is NO real reason to spend the max amount of $$ on a extremely heavy duty built"X:" implement, if your only going to use it lightly or only a few times and its going to sit!
this is why rental shops exists,as most times its more dollar wise to rent something you only use a few times!
not to mention, you can also rent things to see if you like them
THEN< the next issue, is your location, as if you really want to save money, buying the so called BEST "X" made far away and costing more pl;us shipping, isn't saving you any money or value!
SO< this then comes down more to,
if your really looking to save a few penny's by buying smart, or even used
your limited to whats for sale nearest you!
places like local farm or estate auctions, Facebook market place, Craigslist, and even your local news paper classified section, will be your tools to use
there could also be local shops that make and sell attachments, most advertise on the above places(Facebook/craigslist)
so you should be able to find them and go visit them and see what there products look like and ask questions about them, like what type of metal is used and where on implement(as in what cutting edges are made of ,AR 400, mild steel or???) and the same goes for things like how thick the metal is on things, and where, , like cutting edges, are they 1/2 thick, 3/4, 5/8, , how wide, 4 inch 6 inch 8 inch, and what material are they made of, and so on
floor of buckets and liked, walls , what metal how thick, and so on!
but knowing this info, only benefits you if you know what the differences are in things and why you would want it or not<
better steel costs more $$
SO< knowing if you want to spend the extra $$ to get it, or not matters
this again can come down to what your using the implement for, how often, , will it be used hard or lightly, often or??
there is NO need to buy a over built implement if you don;'t need it over built!
PLUS< over built things add weight to implements
which then takes away power and lifting ability on your machine
so just cause something is over built to last yrs, doesn;'t mean its worth the down sides of costs and weight!
next when looking at implement, look at hoses(all the more so on used ones)
do they look long enough, are they designed to fit your machine?? NOT all are , some hoses are too short for some machine or can be too long and in the way!
this is why ALL OEM's make and (or have someone else make) and sell , knowing they fit there machine and work!
where as universal aftermarket ones, might need some modification to work on "X" Brand machine!
next is, welding>
MAN< some of the companys these days, make some shady products with piss poor welding on them, and this even includes the OEM"s IMO based on yrs of seeing things!
This is also, why I prefer to buy things I can visually inspect first, over just ordering things
QC and worse quality employee's are not as they once were!
so its always buyer beware anymore!
And again, keep in mind, that any implement you buy, needs to be compatible with your machine
you mention trencher as an example and want one deeper the better
well if you find one that is deeper, does your machine have the hydraulic flow to properly handle a extra deep one?
as if not, buying one that goes deeper isn't helping you!
so, just cause its goes deeper, doesn't mean good
this applies to any implement your considering
just used that as an example
MAYBE you know this stuff, maybe you don't, I have NO way of knowing, so I posted this with intentions it offers you some insight or things to consider
SO< the BEST , honestly is, just going to be what fits your needs and machine, and you look over and learn what its made of, and buy based on that
one brand might make one thing that fits your needs best, butt another brand might make a different implement that works
its not as easy as just buying "X" brand everything!
Just do your home work first, and buy based on what fits your needs!
don't get hooks on name brands!
