Hi, I have been troubleshooting an issue on mates RC50 for a few days. Initially the Aux hyds when using slasher would drop out intermittently. He found some wires worn through underneath (repaired) and also replaced solenoids as a precaution. This got the slasher going but intermittently the slasher will cut in and out, plus it appears to align with the left hand drive motor locking up. These two events dont happen at exactly the same time but similar timing. The other kicker here is it happens more frequently on rough ground.
Things done to date:
Repaired damaged wiring to aux valve solenoids.
Replaced all solenoids.
Removed fuse panel and repaired damaged connector for 1 main relay (unable to use std relay as the plastic is deformed) External relay fitted with jumpers.
Replaced safety and both Aux relays.
Checked continuity on all earths etc, got about 20 ohms on some earths sorun external wire (no change to problem).
Good power supply to all parts of fuse box (abeit with some corrosion on main bus bar).
Replaced all main battery cables and ensured earths clean and good.
Replaced overhead Aux hyd switch.
Replaced overhead lever safety switch.
Bypassed seat switch.
So after all this there is no change to the issue, it still randomly drops Aux to slasher and then will sometimes lock up LH (only) drive. Generally a stop / restart will get it going again.
We dont have Elect schematic for it but have learnt there is a "safety solenoid" somewhere, I assume thats activated by the safety relay.
Has anybody got a RC50 Elect schematic or can offer any tips or advice to troubleshoot please?
The machine has about 5000 hrs so has done some work, both hand controls are worn on the pilot valves but work ok.
Any advice much appreciated from down under in QLD Australia!
