I can suggest two hydraulic attachments for trees: Hydraulic saw and hydraulic pruners. And I have both (actually three) for sale if you're interested. The pruner/loppers are on a 7' OSHA approved fiberglass pole and can cut 2-1/2" limbs. I have two of them--one is complete the other is missing hoses and a cutter jaw. Asking $500 for the set. They sell new for about $1700 each. The other is a Stanley Rail Saw Model RS25 that could be converted to be on a long pole (how long you wanna go?) and you could use to cut limbs. You could replace the 16" abrasive blade with a carbide blade to cut limbs waaaaaay up. Sells new for $3,750 asking $1000 You can reach me at [email protected]I am a forester by proffession. I am thinking of getting a Kanga with a back hoe attachment as well as a horisontal auger to open drains and culverts in the forest roads. Commercial forestry needs larger machines to do the actual tree work, but due to the small size of a skid steer, I can get in between the planted trees to open up drainage furrows comming off the roads within the forest.
