Air boss segemented tires with steel tracks

Hello guys I just bought a set of steel Traction Tracks for my old Bobcat 642B and I have the double tread thickness Muddy Buddy tires on it right now 10x16.5. I have a chance to buy a set of Air Boss segmented tires for my skid steer and was thinking about running them with the tracks instead of my air filled tires. I see on post all over it says to not run solid tires or foam filled tires with steel tracks. These airboss have that gap between the rim and the rubber ontop so I would think there is give for stuff like rocks just like with an air filled tire. I call grouser and the guy there agreed with me thinking I would be okay. Wondering about getting your guys opinions? I would just be using these air boss tires with the tracks.
