My skid loader started having this issue yesterday. I was at a job that has a very steep slope in the backyard and after going down it the skid would die and then I could start it up right after. I finished the job drove it to the front yard and left it there to pick up later that day. When I got back it started fine and as I was going down the driveway that had a much smaller decline in slope yet it died at the sidewalk. It took 20 min to get it to start again and the fuel pump was pumping and the tank was full. It did this issue again as I was driving it on my property when I brought it back to my house. Has anyone experienced this issue? I need the skid later this week for some tree removals so any advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

First, I have no experience with that brand of machine.

My thought goes to maybe a crack in the intake line in the tank. I know Bobcat has an issue with this. The steep slope could have exposed the crack and possibly bent the hose more causing it to open more on the slope.

If you used a trailer to transport the machine, the loading and unloading may have introduced air into the system causing it to die.

Or could maybe be that a fuel line has a crack before the pump sucking air causing air in the system.

Just my thoughts.
