Hello, I am new to the forum and semi new to skid steer repair. I am an auto tech by trade. I am doing a complete chain case rebuild due to water in both sides. I am installing all new bearings, races, axle sprockets, idler sprockets, and chains. I even had to go so far as having a new idler cluster shaft bushing made and weld it in. I finally have as much of the metal out of the chain case as possible and the new races installed. I went to test fit the new axle bearing on one of the axles and it does not slide over the inner bearing area. It is this way for 2 of the axles and not the other 2. Are the outer axle bearings supposed to be pressed on the axle prior to installing the axle? Any and all help is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Shawn
