My right swing cylinder is leaking on my backhoe. Is it possible to replace the seals without removing the backhoe? I've rebuilt some cylinders in the past but these are a whole different animal. I don't see any gland nuts to remove.

I haven't been able to locate a parts or service book for that, if I recall that cylinder is a double ender that runs a spur gear to swing the dipper. It should come off with the attachment on, you'll probably have to pull the idler gear and it will be close quarters for sure.
Not sure how the end caps are put on, I'd suspect it requires a two pin spanner as the cylinder body probably has internal threads so the end fits flush.
