873 G part identity

Hi , I found this rolling aroud the belly pan. I found the location that it it came from on the side of a hydraulic block on a shaft with a threaded end . I am guessing it is an electro magnet to send a signal to the valve in the block ? Any enlightenment would be appreciated as to its function etc. Thanks and Merry Christmas folks . Ron

I think that may be the solenoid for the BICS control valve. I could be wrong though.

I second brdgbldr's answer. I switched one on my 773 g a few months ago and it looks like that, and that was the area that mine is located in.
