I have an 873 that has not been worked hard (moving dirt/horse manure a couple times a week), only about 1100 hours on it. Today it started running weak and finally fizzled down and cut off completely... checked the fuel line where the primer bulb is, no fuel in that line, nothing when the primer bulb was used..... squirted fuel into it and reconnected it, it would run for a little bit and then cut off again. Sucking the primer bulb flat. Is there a primary fuel pump or something inside the fuel tank that could be stopped up? Are there any manuals online? Thanks! Jennifer

There is a screen in the fuel tank that gets plugged . Follow the hose from the engine back to the tank. Pull the 90 degree fitting out of the grommet on the top of the tank with a pair of pliers then rmove the pickup line (would be a good time to replace this line as they tend to crack off when they get old) clean the screen on the end and reinstall.
