863G machine not starting. Fuel shut off solenoid not getting power.

New to me 863G bobcat skidsteer not getting fuel so I wired in a 12 suction type fuel pump that brings fuel up to fuel shut off solenoid and stops there. I removed solenoid and jumped it out and it operates as it should when it has 12 volts to it. I've checked all fuses and swapped around known good relays but still not getting power to solenoid. Can anyone help with what fuses or relays control the circuit for shut off solenoid? Fuses and relays appear clean and show power with a test light...any help is appreciated. Thank you for all your help.
I'd rather not jump out solenoid if I don't have to.

Make sure you are getting the full 12 volts to the solenoid. Your test light will come on with low Voltage.

you could wire in a fused switch to the fuel relay to give it power. If you can not find defect in key switch or wiring harness or other electrical related parts.

Yes, I ordered the connectors for harness today. I'll also try and find a schematics drawing too. I guess it could be in the key switch?

I'd rather keep it factory but non running sucks.

I had intermittent shutdown on my John Deere CT322. Took the dealer three days of leaving the machine running to replicate the problem. It was a failing, but still working fuel solenoid. Definitely look for wiring diagram. Mine required multiple sensors to register before it would power (key switch, parking brake, seat switch, seat belt switch and door switch as I recall). The good news it is cheap and easy to replace. Good luck, wiring can be a nightmare. Especially if it is a bad ground somewhere. Sorry I can't help more.

I have not worked on skid steers much but based on automotive experience my guesses would be fuses, switch, wiring, safety devices (tip over switch/sensor maybe?), or computer disability due to missing inputs. At this point, a schematic could quickly become your best friend. Good luck !

Did you ever find the issue? I am battling the same issue with a 873 G. Input of find would be greatly appreciated.

I had the same problem with my 873 and could never run the problem down short of replacing the wiring harness. I ran a fused wire off of alternator that only gets power when switch is on and this provided power to fuel solenoid and solved the problem. Not the perfect solution but has worked for many years now.

So it still turns on and off with the switch. What size fuse did you run?

If it is just to hold the fuel relay,I would think 10 amps would be all you need. If you have a vom put it in the circuit set on amps and measure the draw, and make your own conclusions about what size fuse you need. It also might be printed on the part of the amp draw and just go a few more, like if it draws 5 go 7.5.

How did you wire it from the starter? The starter is always hot from the battery.

I wired from alternator one of the wires turns off with ignition switch. Forgot to look at inline fuse but I think I used a 15 amp. I've checked the wires many times to see if it gets warm while running and it never has. Probably runs 300 hours with this setup.

Sorry to keep beating this to death. But trying to figure this out. But isnt the alternator and starter always hot with 12V from the battery?

I didn't use the hot wire going to alternator from battery. Used one of the wires that comes off alternator to the electrical system. Check it with meter or test light to see which one is hot with key on and not with key off.

Sorry I wasn't getting notices of this thread. Multiple times I purchased Amazon shut off solenoids which work perfectly until warrantee runs out. Dealing with this again even though I bought one in August but never ran machine till yesterday. No surprise, didn't work when on machine or bench testing and Amazon.com won't do anything after 30 days so buying one from duetz today.
