One more thing I just noticed - the OEM thermostat (and presumably the one Bobcat sells currently) blocks off the bypass port when fully open. Not sure how big a deal it is if a replacement thermostat doesn’t close off that port when fully open. Obviously if a replacement thermostat is too deep and hits the port and cannot fully open, then that is not a good thing.
My not-expensive Harbor Freight caliper says you have 1-1/2” from the thermostat flange to the bypass port.
