853 jerky going forward

I have looked thru all of the skid steer forum and did not locate anybody having issues with jerks in going straight forword? We would like to work this in house, but I need to know if it is major or not... I did read about "Swash Plates" any body know how to get to them for inspection? Please help.

Yes, just in forward motion turns seems to be fine.

The first place I'd look is the replenishing valves for the forward side of the hydrostatic pump. These look like large bolt heads on the pump. There are spring loaded valves under these bolts.

I'd have to agree, if you had swash plate wear you should have problems in both forward and reverse.
