Hi my name is George. Over the past few months i've enjoyed the wealth of knowledge on this site. I've recently purchased a 1993 853 to use for snow removal at my shop and have a set up question. I'm installing hydraulic hoses and fittings onto a Bobcat 8 ft plow and would like to know which aux lines, top and bottom, are pressurized at each switch position, left and right, on the right side stick. What I'm trying to do is have the plow tilt right when the switch is pushed to the right and vice versa. Also, this is a used setup and was wondering if its necessary or recommended to flush out the cylinders before using this on my machine. Thanks for your help.

i believe the top one is right, bottom is left. you'll need 2 flow restrictors because the bobcats flow is much faster than a snow plow. it will FLY back and forth.

Thanks for the quick reply and sorry for the typo in the title, I'm suffering from a tiny iPhone keyboard. What size restrictors do you recommend?

try surpluscenter.com they have them at a good price
I haven't a chance to run the plow yet. I'm waiting for the correct quick connects. What are the chances that because this is a Bobcat plow intended for a skid steer that it has built in restrictors?

Restrictors would have been right at the quick connects when it came from Bobcat. See item 32 and 27 below. Bobcat part number 6906926.
I fixed your typo in the subject line.

Thank you very much. It doesn't look like I have them. I did find a set online with a 1/16 orifice. I'll get those and give it a try. Id imagine that when this is operating, the pump will be in bypass?

I'm having a hard time finding a restriction that will work at my quick connects. It appears that the quick connects may be non-original. What I plan to do is make a restriction that threads inside the fittings at the cylinders themselves. I've chosen this location due to the smaller inside diameter of these fittings making the fabrication a little easier. I'm thinking that I only need to add a restriction to one side as well. Is there any reason to do both sides or is one just as good? Also is there any reason that the restrictions should be at the other ends of the hoses at the quick connects?
