773G - Hydraulic cooler eblow - NOT AVAILABLE?

I have a 2001 773G and I have hit a snag, I am doing a "frame off" restoration for rust issues and I am so close to completing when I find out the hydraulic cooler elbow is no longer available. The elbow is on the left hand side of the 773 when looking at it from the back. It has the "fancy pants" connection on the top side with the nut and the bottom side is the 90 degree that goes to the steel line into the hydro filter. Part number is 6718748 and listed as Elbow. In the dealer, it was replaced with the part number for the other side but that will not work. as the nut and threads are on the wrong end. thanks.

Are you talking about just the line and fitting to the cooler is needed? the fancy connector is STC i think “snap to connect” it's a pain in the butt, it's like a quick coupler, just harder to open.
If you only need the hose and fitting, there is no reason why you can't get a hose made up and silver solder or braze a different fitting to the cooler. It will do away with that pesky connector. I attempted to make a tool to get it off my S250, but gave up.

those snap fitting are really junk , I have seen so many leak and pop off making a total mess losing all the oil in a flash , it especially happens when using a hammer , the tools are junk and when the fitting is rusted up the tool will bend , you can get that fitting from a hydraulic dealer that sells AeroQuip/Eaton ----------- I am withTaz , if you don't feel comfortable doing it yourself then take the cooler to a raditor shop and let them weld a #12 JIC male fitting in place of the snap fitting and have a hose made with the snap on one side and the JIC on the other , my AeroQuip dealer has that snap fitting in a crimpable fitting to make a hose

I've had it tell me that too. It's in the software to prevent spammers from posting the same thing over and over again.

Based on the schema, I am going to cap off the Control Valve line to the hydro cooler and the feed back to the filter in order to get it moving and on the trailer...does that makes sense?
I am officially done with Bobcat, I am going to take it to an awesome Hydraulic shop and have them customize the fittings unless someone from Bobcat can pull an elbow out of their inventory. Any thoughts? Am I missing something.
It is amazing to me that Bobcat completely abandones an 11 year old machine? is this common?

No that is not typical of bobcat, generally they will supply the part at a ever increasing price as it gets harder to source. But as other have said that coupler has been problematic anyway, so likely changing the fitting to something common is a better plan, especially considering the amount of work your putting into fixing the machine.
Frustrating yes, but that is how it goes sometimes....

Called a different dealer in another region and they quickly identified that the hose was replaced on the hydro cooler with part 7169850 (was 6673828) and the elbow should be part 88F-8 (replaced part 6718748 and corrects bad part 88F-10 that is currently in Bobcat's paperwork) and this should work, they drop shipped to me and I should have it Friday.
