The bushings and pins are worn out on the Bob Tach. I have purchased new bushings and pins. The tapers are OK so the pin installation easy easy. The bushings are another matter. I've read about a couple ways to remove the bushings. Welding a large nut to the bushing and using a slide hammer or cutting the bushing with a torch. I think I can get them out. Looking for advice on installing the new bushing. Don't have a large press. Any ideas?

I just used a soft hammer to knock the new bushings in.
Stick them in freezer or better yet liquid nitrogen or dry ice. It will shrink them so they will fit easier. Than pound them in. To get the old ones out you can weld around the inside when the weld cools and shrinks they will loosen up
