763 Seat Bar inslallation

OK, finally had the time to pull out and clean my seat bar sensor. Ended up having to pull the spring and bar off at the end where the sensor was. Now I can only get either the bar or the spring hooked up but not both. Any ideas???

You need to compress the spring to simply the re-installation. How I do usually do that is by using a vice that the spring can sit in, then tightening the vice to reduce the overall length by about an inch (at most), then run (3) STRONG wire ties through the spring. Space the wire ties out to hold the spring compressed in a straight line. Then, install everything as you normally would. Make sure everything is assembled CORRECTLY, then remove the wire ties. Easy peezy!
