I drove it about 1/4 mile and the temp went from cold start to normal. After that I moved some gravel that had washed in recent rains and it was still normal temp. I drove it maybe another 3/8 of a mile and it was getting hotter the longer I drove it. The last couple hundred yards was up a fairly steep hill and it got over into the red area and the light came on the last 200 feet. I parked it and let the engine run with no hyd. usage and it cooled right back down. It seems like the driving it made the heating issue worse. I need to check the temp independently of the gauge but it didn't really "smell" hot. Larry</p></blockquote><p></p>
