Hi all. I am a new owner of used 763G with a grapple bucket (4300 hours). I have done a ton of reading already on this site and have received a wealth of information. So my problem is sometimes when we are using the aux. hydraulics to open or close the clam, the warning light in the top left of the right panel (lights up AHC) comes on and then we have no ability to raise/lower/tilt the bucket or use the clams. We shut down the machine and restart everything goes back to normal. This error is not consistant though it seems to happen more on cold days. Any help would be appreciated as the closest dealer is 2 1/2 hours away. Another note that may or may not be related is the glow plug light flashesd continually even when the machine is running. Thanks in advance for any help

I take it this machine has the advaanced hand controls and not the traditional foot pedals. If so you are in for a trip to the dealer. It is gonna hurt. Sorry.

Sadly i agree with Ken, hand controls are a nightmare.

Have to agree with Ken , if I were playing The Price is Right , I'd guess $1,000-$1,200 for a controller job , or $1,800- $2,000 for a wiring harness job , could be as simple as a couple of actuators and some programming for $800

Yes the machine has the hand controls and I was afraid that it was going to be something serious...I will keep running it now, for a little bit, until the job I am working on gets to the stage where I can send the machine off to be repaired. Thanks for the help.
