763 dumped all oil and won't start

I got a 763, that dumped all of its oil out and now won't start, guess the engine seized. Now i have been running Biodiesel with this skid steer, and my BP is blaming the fuel for this. but I have my droughts. We removed the fuel tank and cleaned it completely not even 2 weeks ago. now I'm no mechanic but what could cause the engine to dump all of its oil out? We will be opening her up tomorrow. will keep posted on findings

Fuel won't cause it to loose engine oil, good luck getting them to prove it did. The only real points i can think that oil can escape is if a pressure sender went bad, it can leak out, but its pretty slow. If the breether is plugged it can pop the dipstick out and can cause the oil to splash out. There really is no other way i can think of that could cause it to drain the oil, unless its a turbo and an oil line there broke too or a bad turbo bearing/seal but i'd suspect it to pour out smoke and you would know far before it burnt up all 8 litres of engine oil.

I am actually trying to track down the reason my 873 is popping the dipstick and spraying oil on startup. I took the hose off the bottom of the PCV module with the ball in it, blew in the hose and heard bubbling from the check valve on top of the block. So that valve seemed good. Since I got pressure down into the crankcase obviously the PCV valve is open. Could it be that the orings on the dipstick are just bad and what little pressure builds in the crankcase is pushing it out? How else can I check?

The oil came out the oil breather hose, they 763 that I have is a non-turbo. Need to repair another machine first today, so that we can open up the bobcat tomorrow.

Both of these engines need a compression check. Likely you'll find a very low or dead cylinder from a hole in a piston.

Well today is D-Day, still had a spare engine from a busted Skid Steer that was awaiting parts, so I hope that I can make 1 working engine out of both.

well, we blew a piston to pieces, the head gasket had a crack in it and the piston that blew was running to lean, for as far as I can see

Liklely the head gasket was letting coolant into the cylinder and it eroded the piston until it failed.
