starter clicks once, glow plugs counting down. no power at key switch, no power at any fuses. i pulled fuse block out and all wires look factory new, nothing burnt, cut, or broken. could i have a computer thats bad?

Check your ground and hot wires at the battery and then at the starter. If the battery has a full charge, check if the battery drops voltage when you load test it.

over 12v on freshly charged and checked battery and yes voltage drops when load tested but every battery drops when load tested. its still within starting specs (11v when held for 10 seconds). im getting zero volts at fuse panel.

It almost sounds like the 100 amp main fuse blew not allowing any power to the cab, but your getting glow plug countdown. I'd check the 100 amp fuse and make sure the connections to it are tight. If your not familiar where it is. Follow the positive battery cable strait up about 8". That red cable goes into a black box just above the battery. Pry the little box open, inside is the main 100 amp fuse. Again, if the connections aren't tight or corroded that could be a possibility. Its a easy fix if its it, best of luck.

ive replaced the big fuse before and keep one spare in truck. ill check connection.

It might not hurt to use a test light , volt meter or like to chase where there is power and where not, to help isolate issue.
ive got a hd test light and fluke ohm meter and used those as well as a battery volt load tester. i did find my problem. it was the second smaller guage wire that meets the starter wire at the positive terminal. it had been bent one too many times under the wire cover. those machine get bounced around enough to crack the copper where i couldnt see it. when i took the battery out for the 10th time it flnally broke and was an easy fix. sometimes ive gotta walk away from a problem and go back in fresh. thanks for all the suggestions. this is a great place and working on these machines is a great way to invent new cuss words.
